What you learn

What does innovation mean by integrating UX Design and “Agile” processes? How changes the way people works and collaborates when working groups have to transform processes and products at the same time?

These are cases in which Design Thinking can provide companies some effective methodologies and tools to improve collaboration and shorten the product or service development or roll out. Born as an approach to the innovation of products and services, today’s Design Thinking helps companies to systematically rethink the processes and the relationship with the final customer of the entire organization, working in a collaborative and cross-functional way and putting at the center the needs of the people for whom you are designing. By innovating products and services, Design Thinking helps companies, work groups, start-ups to change the way they design and collaborate between the different functions involved in the design process.

The aim of the workshop is to experiment the customer-centered approach and the collaborative and prototyping tools typical of Design Thinking. Working in groups and lead by a group of experts, the workshop participants will develop in a practical way an idea of service through a Customer Journey, rethinking processes and services (or products) starting from the analysis of the experience of the final customers.

Who is the workshop interesting for

The workshop is addressed at all company roles at different levels dealing with the design of new products and services: c-levels, manager, developers, business owners and designers, and the people most exposed to the relationship with the final customer of the company. Attendant can be persons, groups, teams, start-up and freelancers. No special pre-requisites are required.

Tickets

We reserve the rights to cancel a workshop or move it to an alternative date if the set minimum number of paying attendees won’t be reached in due course, or in any other force majeure causes will occur.

We’ll notify all attendees who have already purchased a ticket at least 5 days before the date in which the course or workshop was scheduled.

In case of cancellation (of date change), all attendees will be fully refunded of the course fee only (e.g. no transport or accommodation costs will be refunded).

GIANLUCA BRUGNOLI

Architect, PhD in Industrial Design, co-founder of frog design Milan, today he directs the Design team at Digital McKinsey Milan. In over 20 years of experience in designing digital and physical services and experiences, he has worked for leading Italian and international companies. Researcher and lecturer at Milan Polytechnic where he teaches on UX Design, Service Design, Design Thinking.
